With 20 years of experience training in various gyms around the world, Lu has incorporated many types of training styles in her life over this time, in a variety of sports and modalities. As an active mom, her personal physical pursuits have included endurance training (up to 30km distances, road and trail running), hybrid training and more recently, as a multiple gold medal and best lifter recipient competitive powerlifter, in both Canada and the USA.
She truly enjoys finding her limitations (physically and mentally!) and training to smash through those boundaries.
In 2022, she decided to turn her passion for strength and fitness into a career, gaining her NASM CPT certification, and then adding CPPC with Girls Gone Strong. Lu believes that everyone deserves body confidence, competence and being able to train in a way that promotes health and longevity.
Since then, Lu has helped numerous clients increase their quality of health and life through movement and exercise, individuals trying to run their very first races, and she also specializes in powerlifting coaching for clients in Canada, the USA and UK - collectively adding 100s of KGs to their strength, and resulting in multiple award winners and state records.
As a coach and trainer, she loves working with clients of all ages, genders, and exercise history/experience and mainly prioritizes:

● Gaining self-confidence
● Increasing muscle-mass
● Building bone density
● Creating healthy relationships with training and exercise
Her philosophy is: “It’s not all or NOTHING. It should be all or SOMETHING”. Long term consistency, over perfection every time!
