Rorie Marrison

Rorie is an outdoor professional who focuses his time and effort in rock climbing, hiking, white water kayaking and canoeing. He spent the last year in China where he led various expeditions such as surf and climbing camps, guided youth groups through the Moganshan bamboo forests and along the Great Wall and taught wilderness skills in the deserts and grasslands of Inner Mongolia.

Since moving to Canada, he has explored northern Ontario as a raft guide on the Ottawa River. Most recently, he moved his adventures to B.C. where he is working as a climbing guide here at the Core and is looking forward to the ski season in Whistler.

He strives to build on his climbing skills and is working towards climbing the Chief and perhaps returning to China where he would like to open his own climbing gym or continue furthering his outdoor education with Outward Bound.
