There is a Zen to Whistler life that can enlighten even the hardest hearts. So it’s only natural that we offer Yoga as part of The Core experience.

Welcome to Core Yoga

A flowing series of moves that warms up, stretches, and tones every major muscle group in the body. Done with a powerful breathing technique shown to improve respiratory function, and a special rhythmic beat that helps calm and focus the mind, it’s a total fitness routine with a difference!

One of the primary sources of our yoga knowledge is the Ashtanga vinyasa system. This style, also known as Power yoga, stretches and opens the body in a well-rounded, organized and safe manner.


Christina Tottle
Christina has been instructing yoga for The Core since the start. Her peaceful manner and excellent instruction makes her classes a great place for beginners and advanced participants.


Power Yoga with Julia

A led 60 minute vinyasa class (postures flowing with breath). Classes will typically include sun salutations, standing and balancing poses, arm balancing, heart opening/backbending postures, core related practices and breathing techniques. This class is suitable for all levels and style of athlete. Come with an open mind. My background includes teaching over 3000 classes over the past 5 years in both Asia and Canada. Yoga Alliance certification including 200 hr ashtanga training with Paul Dallaghan of Yoga Thailand, countless hours with Patrick Creelman of Pure Yoga, inspired by Ana Forrest, David Swenson, Pattabis Jois, Seane Corn, Shiva Rea, the Jivamuktis, John Friend (Anusara Yoga).
